What is Room Escape?

Real-life Escape Games are a type of live game where players are locked in a room with other participants and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles, find clues, and escape the room within 60 minutes.

What are the age restrictions?

Due to the complexity of our puzzles the minimum recommended age is 15. Anyone under the age of 12 is not permitted to participate and cannot be present in the room. There must be at least one adult over the age of 18 in the room at all times.

Do we have to be there on time?

Absolutely! Because our rooms are scheduled to start at specific time intervals, the one hour clock must begin as scheduled. If you come early, you might need to wait, but if you come late, you will cause delays for other teams and your game time may be shortened. Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time. You will be asked to fill out a waiver before you play.

How much does it cost?

Prices vary based on number of players, day of the week, and time slot. In general, the minimum costs is $105 for up to 3 players. Every additional player is $35. The minimum cost is higher during peak hours. Please also be aware that Fox in a Box is a live event, so once the booking is confirmed, refunds, reschedules, and cancellations are not accepted. We accept all major credit cards and PayPal accounts.

How many games are there?

We have eight rooms: The Other Side (new room), Zodiac, Dracula: The Final Hour, Zombie Lab, Prison Break, Tesla's Mystery and two identical Cold War Bunkers. If you have a large group, you can split up into two teams and play both bunkers at the same time. Between the eight rooms, we can host up to 50 players at once.

Accessibility and special requirements

Our Cold War Bunker is designed with wheelchair users in mind. The front entrance of our building has a few steps, however, guests with wheelchairs can be guided to the back entrance if they call upon arrival. Pregnant women can also enjoy our games since the games are not physically challenging. Seats are readily available in the room if a team member needs to rest for a while.

How many players in a single room?

Since our rooms are private, the minimum team size is 2, and maximum is 6.

What are the rules for people under the influence?

Please do not participate in the game if you are under the influence of alcohol, any mind altering substances, or any other substances that may affect your senses, reflexes or coordination. The game supervisor may refuse to allow any patrons into the room without any explanation or refund.

Are we really locked in the room?

The Prison, Tesla's Mystery and Zodiac are rooms where you are actually locked inside. However, there are three "emergency stop" buttons located in the room. Hitting this button will automatically unlock all doors so team members may exit the room. Our other rooms remain unlocked throughout the game time, so team members may exit the room at any time if needed. Please note that the game clock does not stop even if the whole team leaves the room.
